Scriptless 14.7

Pretty good show. Very gaggy set, really, but there was some nice material in there. I got to do some physical stuff and some vocal stuff (including singing about right angles!) but there was a certain naturalism missing from this show that was definitely there in some of the scenes in EELS last night (or if not naturalism, gravitas).  Anyway:

Slumber Party Quirks - pretty cool. Yeah.
Toys - got to be Chucky and got to use the trapdoor. All good.
Blues Song - nice. Trig.
Rollercoaster - awesome mix of genres (Battle Royale!), pretty nice scene.
Psychiatrist - mediocre. Didn't have too much story in it. Also I knocked over the water pitcher after it.
Rap - Why oh why did Patrick take "white guys can't be black" as an askfor? An askfor that pretty much dictates that everything said can be construed as some kind of racist comment?
Fairy Tale 911 - OK scene, suffered from similar lack of focus problems (to me) that the psychiatrist scene did.
ID Cards - static and boring. Not very good.
Gospel Song - nice way to end the show although could have used more structure and more words rather than constant "Hallelujah"ing.

Audience seemed to like it but yeah...it was really gaggy. Ross was in the audience too. Supposedly it was our "requests" night but we didn't get a single one of them. Which could be good - we suffered through adversity in a way. Ehh. I enjoyed myself and exhausted myself. Good show!
